Hurricane Beacon
I watch the basin. You sleep through the noise.
Watches the Atlantic basin — every NHC outlook, advisory, and watch/warning — for tropical systems that could actually reach your coast. Fires only when something concrete crosses a threshold: formation odds rising with a track toward you, the cone touching your coastline, a watch or warning issued, a rapid-intensification call. Most days during hurricane season, you hear nothing. That's the point. (U.S. Atlantic and Gulf coasts, June 1 – November 30.)
